Based on account in Melbourne CBD, the Finance Director is responsible in providing comprehensive financial services with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. You will assist to manage and maximise the commercial results of the account.

This role is required to be based in Melbourne.
- Management and administration of the Service Provider Agreement between Client and JLL
- Manage the finance team to ensure client interfaces and reporting is accurate and provided on a timely basis
- As a member of the Account leadership team, contribute to its management to ensure account wide operations are efficient and as effective as possible
- Preparation of contract price variations and contractual pricing adjustments
- Manage Corporate Month End, forecasting and budgeting processes and associated reporting to the Account Director and Australasia Work Dynamics management
- Ownership of finance related contract KPIs ensuring minimal commercial impact on the account
- Manage the client Finance relationship to encourage partnering approach to work environment
- Oversight and development driving continuous improvement around periodic and ad-hoc reporting and related processes including forecast and budget
- Accountant team oversight driving continuous improvement around core accounting controls, processes and month end responsibilities including IFRS16 lease accounting
- Shared Services team oversight ensuring processes and responsibilities are efficient and accurate
- Support systems implementation and ongoing operations to ensure benefits are maximised for the account
- Ensure the integrity of critical data between finance (JD Edwards) and other key systems (Portfolio, Helpdesk and CAAPs, Corrigo etc)
- 10 years post formal finance qualification experience (CA, CPA)
- Strong proven financial / commercial governance experience
- Prior experience to managing financial aspects of contracts will be a distinct advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse range of stakeholders and clients alike
- Sound written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to deal with ambiguity & complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability to own / manage multiple and complex deliverables on a daily and project basis.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight / competing deadlines.
- Experience in managing and leading accounting or finance teams
- Sound IT and Excel proficiency (ability to develop financial models and conduct analysis)
