A risk management company that is growing through M&A—and backed by private equity—is seeking an experienced Vice President of Human Resources to drive the success of their shared services office and nationwide partner agencies.

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of: (1) leading an HR department through the merger and acquisition process (at the manager level or higher), (2) streamlining processes in a shared services environment, and (3) leading software launches to match growth needs.

  • Shared Services HR Team Development: Lead the establishment and growth of a shared services HR team, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional support to acquired agencies.
  • M&A Integrations: Oversee the seamless integration of acquired agencies into the organization, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and harmonizing HR processes.
  • Process Management: Develop, implement, and manage HR processes and policies to align with company objectives and industry best practices.
  • Software Solutions: Research and recommend appropriate HR software to streamline operations and enhance efficiency and lead the launch.
  • Travel Requirement: Travel to nationwide agencies, including locations in Chicago, Arizona, Texas, and other regions, to provide on-site HR support and build strong relationships with partners.

Top Priorities

  • 5+ years of M&A experience in human resources (at the manager level or higher),
  • Several years’ experience streamlining processes in a shared service environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR software solutions and successful software implementation experience
