A consumer products company located on Long Island is actively seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Senior Manager – Payroll Shared Services. In this role, the Senior Manager – Payroll Shared Services manages the activities of the payroll function via in-house payroll system and timely and accurate payment of payroll to employees.

The Senior Manager – Payroll Shared Services:

• Reviews existing processes for efficiency and streamlines them where necessary
• Ensures compliance with tax withholding, unemployment, pay statements, wage & hour, garnishments, workers compensation (etc.) at Federal, State, and Local levels
• Oversees SOX Workflows and Sox Audits
• Oversees earnings/deductions base table setup including taxation and inclusion/exclusion in various programs and systems as needed
• Manages tax audits as needed
• Creates and manages detailed year-end project plan
• Reviews periodic tax updates for relevance, accuracy, and timeliness
• Serves as a liaison to third party payroll provider

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years of related experience
• Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Highly organized
