Become a HR Shared Services Senior Supervisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a shared services model within the HR function, overseeing HR programs, self-service tools, and reviewing and redesigning transactional HR processes using lean principles. You will focus on ensuring that the back-end operation are running effectively, collaborating with internal partners to provide excellent HR services that enhance employee productivity. Additionally, you will maintain positive working relationships with Centers of Excellence across HR and other business partners, while overseeing the Center’s staff, systems, and knowledge database.

- Lead and develop a service driven team.
- Manage the daily activities of the Center, including employee performance, service quality, transaction accuracy, coaching, and staff development.
- Respond to escalations and follows through on customer issues for full resolution.
- Manage the daily activities of the HR Shared Service Center, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of services.
- Ensure the team is trained on current policies and maintain compliance documents.
- Horizon scan for any changes within the business that the service needs to anticipate or respond to.
- Manage HR initiatives by designing, advising, and innovating solutions that support operational and service excellence goals and objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of HR practices and the technical aspects.
The essentials
- Four or more years of experience in a lead role or supervising a team.
- Experience with HR programs, policies, and processes.
- Experience in reviewing and redesigning transactional HR processes using lean principles or other process improvement methodologies.
The preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
- Ability to integrate efforts across teams and departments to increase operational effectiveness by fostering cooperation, building partnerships, sharing information, and promoting collaboration and teamwork.
- Effective resource, project planning, and results delivery.
- Experience communicating both verbally and in a written format to a wide variety of audiences.
- Experience in a call center/customer service center.
