Our client, based in Sydney CBD is a NFP organisation who is committed to ensuring direct relief is being provided to the most vulnerable and to sustain these vital services, they require the expertise, motivation and commitment of an astute finance professional from large NFP’s / NGO’s with multiple business streams ranging with current T/O from $150- 300Mill.

• Facilitation and management of monthly financial reporting.
• Provide advice, analysis, input and recommendations on accounting policy and procedures.
• Maintaining industry and business appropriate financial controls.
• Ensuring the integrity of management and statutory financial reporting processes such as annual financial statements, Tax (BAS, FBT) cash flows, workers comp etc.
• Corporate management accounting eg. budget, variance reporting for the support areas (eg, HR, Finance, IT, Property, etc).
• Transactional Accounting ie. AP, AR & Assets.
• Engaging of Grants processes and annual acquittals.
• Meetings with relevant Executive Managers, General Managers and Group Executive Managers among others.

• Possess a motivation and commitment to the achievement of business targets and customer service principles.
• Demonstrates an ability to work with a diversity of people across all organisational levels and multiple stakeholder groups within a collegiate environment.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the vision, mission and principles of our client demonstrating values driven management practices as well as personal modelling of these values and principles to all staff, volunteers, members and clients.
• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, CPA or CA Qualifications
• Proven financial executive management experience (minimum of 4-10 years) of a diverse finance function including a high-level of Corporate Financial Services.
• Proven organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines and budgets.
• Demonstrable skills in conflict resolution, change management and financial management.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Min of 4 years tenure at a time as a Snr Financial Mgr / Controller within a NFP Community services Sector – For Purpose is highly desirable.
