Manages a group of functional RTR team(s) comprised of Accounting Managers, Supervisors, Lead Accountants, and Senior and intermediate accountants performing basic and advanced accounting and bookkeeping activities, such as preparing and posting entries to the general ledger, account reconciliations, report preparations, and closing activities. Serves as the point of contact for RTR operation and supports the corporate accounting group in various corporate accounting and closing tasks. Supports Controllers in understanding accounts movements and resolving any reconciling items, and various data and supporting schedules needed for audit or reporting. Partner with Finance COE India for alignment and standard reporting. Resolves complex issues. Ensure compliance with applicable internal controls and company policies Responsible for managing Quality assurance of each of the functions. Responsible for recruitment, performance appraisal, and development of each team member. Can also be called upon to participate in special projects throughout the year.

- Manages a function or group of accounting functions assigned.
- Provides management advisory in resolving various issues and requests.
- Monitors issues and resolves medium to complex problems.
- Support the Director in various closing activities and reporting and ad-hoc tasks.
- Attends periodic calls for corporate accounting/ consolidation and closing activities.
- Overall oversee meeting the monthly KPI targets.
- Promotes process reengineering and continuous process improvement.
- Provide support to controllers for audit requests and various requirements.
- Review compliance with applicable SOPs, GAAP, and company policies.
- Review and sign-off journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Provides coaching, guidance, and feedback for the performance and development of team members.
- Support management in implementing policy and changes.
- Drives efficiencies to every process and function.
- Support and manage employee engagements and address team members immediate concerns.
Serves as the primary backup for Finance Director.
What it takes:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy or business or Finance related courses.
- CPA preferred
- Preferably with at least 10 years of Finance and Accounting experience at Supervisory or Managerial level. Preferably from a Shared Service or BPO environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision while meeting the critical deadlines
- Solid People Management skills.

- Computer literate with high proficiency in MS Office
- Experience in Accounting platform and reconciliation tool is required, SAP and Blackline is preferred.
- Adept in MS Excel. Macro function knowledge is an advantage.
