This role manages enterprise accounts Payable activities. Responsibilities have a moderate degree of direct supplier interaction with enterprise transactional, analytical and reporting complexity in a multi-system environment.

  • Managing the daily operations of an enterprise Accounts Payable team in a complex, multisystem environment
  • Leading and coaching team on simple to complex accounting and process issues
  • Developing and partnering with other leaders and Shared Services director on a strategic plan for the organization
  • Leading programs and governing policies ensuring compliance to policy
  • Developing and implementing operational KPI’s ensuring operations are in control
  • Supporting all key financial cycles and ensuring timely transactional processing

Qualifications And Skills

  • BS in Accounting Preferred or a combination of Finance or another Management / Business related degree with appropriate years of experience managing an Accounting or Shared Services function.
  • 7-10 Years’ experience in a Shared Services or other Finance / Accounting Organization.
  • 7-10 Years in a management role preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship development skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic enterprise role

Must Have Qualifications

  • Management experience in a high-demand, complex environment working for a multi-billion dollar company
  • Strong accounting skills and willingness to dig into accounting details as this is a working manager role
  • Passion and energy around driving positive change in systems and business processes in a collaborative, transparent manner
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to professionally handle conflict in a positive manner

Nice-to-have Qualifications

  • Certification in business architecture, Lean Six Sigma, change management, etc.
  • Experience implementing ERP or other systems
  • Experience leading company card programs (Travel & Entertainment, P-Card)
