APAC HRGS Director will be responsible for the effective operational service delivery of activities for Human Resources for the region in accordance to the Service Level Agreement. The responsibilities will be extended to look after the HR Global Services vision and strategy as contribution to achieve mid- and long-term objectives by ensuring adherence of global and local rules and regulations.

He / She lead the HRGS teams in the hub ensuring acquisition, development and management of talents. Manages the Performance (PMP) of direct reports and hence the employee life cycle.

Achieving Business Results and Operational Excellence

  • Oversees HR Service KPIs to support the achievement of HRGS – hub objectives
  • Adapt operating model and scope of HR Service as per the new requirements
  • Adapts plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
  • Drive HRGS roadmap for the Region, standardization, harmonization and continuous improvement in quality, time and cost based on overall targets for Global HR Service team
  • Operational set-up as well as capacity planning
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction of the HRGS service delivery

Manage HRGS Service Center Site budget and targets

  • Ensure the quality and scope of services at HRGS – hub
  • Review and adjustment of allocation of key tasks based on considerations of business risk, commerciality and urgency.
  • Act as point of contact for any escalation from internal and external customers and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner.

Management and development of direct reports

  • Ensure to recruit and retain talent in the team for a long-term productivity
  • PMC on time for all team members
  • Ensure Competency matrix fully cover the team, all critical roles identified, and associated risks mitigated. Succession planning short term & medium term up to date at any time.
  • Act as a role model for excellent Customer Service in dealings with all internal and external customer requests.
  • Support each team member to find and reach their potential, constantly learn and improve their capabilities
  • Ensure a professional, creative, inspiring and fun environment in the quest of a world class place to work and high retention of talent

Stakeholder Relationship

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to manage expectations and ensure excellent cooperation with various interfaces / stakeholders within Human Resources community and the business
  • Proactive in seeking feedback on the team’s performance, develop and execute action plans to continually improve stakeholder satisfaction levels
  • Manage a ‘right first time’ culture within the team
  • Sustain the Customer Care culture and processes and review Continuous Improvement adoption of the standards over time within the operation.
  • Leads and plays a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adapt the development of processes, systems and standards to continuously improve service delivery at regional level.
  • Creates and drives the implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices
  • Review and assess the impact of projects in each functional area to ensure that the customer service impact is known, and appropriate process and training updates are provided to the teams.
  • Manage compliance with the HR Delivery Model global Human Resources processes, liaise with process owner to address process improvements
  • Collaborate with Human Resources colleagues to share best practices

Educational Requirements

  • Mandatory:
    • Business Degree, preferably MBA level or similar complemented by a demonstrated track record

Experience:

  • Mandatory:
    • Minimum 15 years of related experience in HR operations.
    • Experience of working in a HR Shared Service environment driven by KPIs and Delivery Schedules.
    • Hands on experience / exposure to HR tools and Digital HR environment.
    • Good knowledge on domestic taxation and immigration laws
    • Experience of HR operational aspects (Talent availability, Salary & Benefit, Legal/Labor Compliance, Income Tax, Social Context)
  • Desirable:
    • An experience in a HRSS external consultant could be an asset.
    • Knowledge on various HRMS platforms, analytical tools and Reporting would be an added advantage.
