You will provide strategic support to the Head of Operational Excellence (OE) and act as a liaison between the team and other executives across functions.
You will also be responsible for managing and coordinating projects and task forces for the Head of Operational Excellence.
Management
・ Act as a strategic advisor to Head of Operational Excellence and his organization leadership team.
・ Support the governance of Operational Excellence. Organize Management meetings (incl. tasks such as agenda formulation, minutes creation, material preparation or meeting facilitation as needed, cooperation with participants and implement the necessary follow-up actions)
・ Support the formulation of Operational Excellence Policy and key priority measures and setting up of monitoring process, aligning with Business and Functional Leaderships
Project Mgt
・Ensure timely and effective completion of Operational Excellence initiatives and cross divisional projects, by participating as PMO or Steering Committee member when applicable and by overseeing the progress
・Provide the necessary support for Operational Excellence Managers to have the overall good understanding, as well as prepare the any necessary documents/reports.
Finance
・Support the procedures of Financial Budgeting & Forecasting (MYP / FYP / Forecast)
・Collaborate with Global Finance, RROs, Business Unit Heads, Function Leaders
Communication
・Represent Head of Operational Excellence in meetings, by email, and other communications with internal stakeholders.
・Be a liaison for senior management, Operational Excellence organization leaderships incl. division heads, employee
・Establish and implement Operational Excellence communication plan
・Prepare reports, presentation materials and other correspondence on behalf of Head of Operational Excellence
- Business level English (Japanese is preferred)
- PM experience in a global company and in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, automobiles, and finance (PM can be in any field)
- Fundamental knowledge of finance, marketing and business management
- Ability to understand internal processes and communication skills to involve stakeholders and implement improvement measures
