Work Option: In-Office few days a week (a minimum of 3 days in office) and Work from Home
The EFS Finance Capability Lead will handle three major areas:
- Lead the Finance Program representing PGS at the Core Project Team
- Lead the transformation and transition of accounting/finance processes
- Lead the Operational Excellence function for EFS including Operational Risk
Essential Deliverables
- Be an integral part of the Finance Program core team representing PGS and lead a group of project team members at PGS, who will contribute to the program
- Be involved in the blue printing phase, solution design, testing and implementation of various solutions as part of the Finance Journey Program
- Contribute actively to the identification of opportunities for Global Delivery as part of the Finance Program and / or other SCBU GD initiatives
- Contribute to the journey of team extensions / shared services into the development of Center of Excellence based on defined and aligned criteria
- Conduct capability assessment to identify new opportunities for transition and engage with key stakeholders to demonstrate PGS’s potential capabilities for future.
- Oversee the planning and execution of transitions for new processes & services into the GBS framework.
- Ensure seamless integration of new processes with minimal disruption to ongoing operations by monitoring and reporting on the progress of transitions, addressing any challenges or risks proactively.
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement through training, mentoring, and fostering a mindset of innovation & identify areas for process optimization through detailed analysis
- Identify opportunities for automation within existing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to continuously suggest and enhance the automation adoption.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards while implementing new technologies.

Preferred Educational Background
- Master’s degree / Professional Degree / Relevant Industry Certification where applicable
- Proven track record of having implemented ERP solutions for medium/large scale operations from a functional standpoint
- Strong knowledge & experience of having handled transition and transformation (process, digital, etc) for Finance & Accounting domain
- Must have a good knowledge and experience of working in Operational Excellence environment as Project Lead, certification in any of the improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, etc. is mandatory
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
Total years of industry experience:
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in BFSI Industry either in GCC / service provider environment of which last 10 years in operational excellence and transition management.
