Reporting to the Director of Financial Control and Treasury, you will manage a team of 18 whilst managing the contractual relationship and performance of an outsourced shared service provider, where you will monitor and govern KPIs and controls.
Your role is pivotal in maintaining a robust process framework and implementing best practices to meet TAFE NSW’s evolving needs, guaranteeing economical, efficient and effective financial and procurement transactions processing leveraging both internal and external capacity.
With your proactive and strategic approach, coupled with hands-on leadership, you and your team will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external service providers and internal stakeholders. You’ll drive a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging technology and innovation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness whilst placing the customer at the heart of the decision-making processes, you’ll instill a high-performance and collaborative team culture that drives excellence in financial transactions processing, further enhancing alignment with business objectives and adherence to performance standards and TAFE NSW’s overall success.
You will possess a degree qualification in a related field or equivalent significant experience, coupled with a fully qualified membership with CPA Australia or CAANZ.
You bring a wealth of experience in leading functions that deliver financial transactional processing under shared services arrangements. Additionally, we are seeking a candidate with senior leadership experience in providing exceptional customer service support to internal finance stakeholders and end users of financial and related systems. Your ability to effectively lead teams, drive process optimisation, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement will be essential to the success of the role.
