Strategy
- Work within the Credit and Portfolio Management (CPM) Change Management team to lead change delivery, implementation, and adherence to change management standards across various investment funded initiatives.
- As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex system and process implementation projects. You will work with various stakeholders, vendors and teams to ensure the successful delivery of the projects within the scope, budget and timeline. You will also monitor and report on the progress, risks and issues of the projects and ensure alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives and standards.
- Document and track comprehensive programme strategy, aligning it with the bank’s overall strategic goals.
- Measure and track financial benefits and cost to ensure accurate planning and alignment to Corporate Plan and agreed budgets.
Business
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of CPM investment funded initiatives, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize key business requirements and ensure their successful implementation.
- Establish and maintain a highly engaged working relationship with shared accountability across businesses / functions.
- Ensure traceability and clear metrics to demonstrate the achievements delivered.
People and Talent
- Help to lead the CPM change management team, providing guidance and coaching.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Create and foster a diverse and inclusive team and culture, championing the importance of psychological safety to ensure people feel empowered to speak up and contribute.
Risk Management
- Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks and processes to identify, assess and mitigate programme risks.
- Monitor and track programme risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Collaborate with operational risk management and other 2nd Line teams to ensure compliance with internal policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness becomes apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant Governance forums.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting into Governance forums (eg. Quarterly Performance Review (QPR), Programme Steering Committee (PgSC), etc) in line with the banks policies and standards.
Governance
- Ensure efficient and effective governance structures and processes are established, in compliance with overarching Change Management standards and other governance processes as appropriate.
- Driving transparent and effective financial management, covering budgeting and forecast reporting and ensuring a robust Benefits Management framework is implemented.
- Perform tracking and monitoring with prompt course correction as required.
- Plan and participate in change governance forums as needed.
- Facilitate CPM portfolio level governance forums.
- Clear and active management of dependencies.
Regulatory and Business Conduct

- 10 years of experience in programme and project management, especially larger programme with established firms.
- Senior experience and proven track record of managing and delivering large scale, business and / or technology initiatives across multiple geographies.
- Senior experience coordinating complex programmes of work comprising of multiple workstreams with significant technology delivery.
- Ability to engage and drive outcomes effectively across stakeholder groups, from working level through to senior management.
- Interpersonal skills in networking, influencing and decision taking.
- Excellent communication skills – oral, written and presentation.
- Strong people management or team management experience.
- Experience in Agile delivery would be preferred.
- Knowledge of Corporate Banking.
