The AVP Supply Chain Financial Operations is responsible to VP – Financial Operations, and maintains relationships with the HCA Group Supply Chain CEOs and SVP–Supply Chain. It is responsible for the financial operations and performance measurement of the HealthTrust Supply Chain shared service organization. This individual supports the management of cost centers totaling approximately $500 million to support HCA’s supply chain function; additionally, this position monitors over $10 billion in annualized supply expense recorded on HCA facility ledgers.
- Strategically leads the financial operations of HCA’s Supply Chain organization, including both Corporate functions and field-based shared services organization
- Directly responsible for the consolidated analytics team responsible for creating dashboards and reports to manage performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Provides financial insight and input to supply chain strategic initiatives
- Guarantees accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution, and retention of all financial reports and records related to supply chain operations and hospital supply expense management
- Directs and completes preparation of short- and long-range budgets, strategic plans, monthly financial/operational reports, and ad hoc financial requests designed to manage performance
- Directs shared financial reporting personnel activities to ensure accurate financial results
- Completes preparation of HCA supply chain and supply expense budget directives (including savings plans)
- Coordinates all ad-hoc financial, operational, and data mining reporting requests
- Aids all management staff related to the performance of financial management matters
- Responsible for financial and compliance audit coordination including performance of balance sheet reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting – Required
- 10-12 years’ experience in financial reporting, financial operations, and/or supply chain management – Required
- Certified Public Accountant – Preferred
