As a Senior Business Controller, you ensure that the management of our supply chain organization has the correct information to manage the company. Your analyzes and advice ensure that management can make the right decisions to optimize processes, but you also provide solicited and unsolicited advice on these types of topics. You are an expert in stock analyses, seasonal planning, margin analyses, portfolio management and efficiency. Your sharp insight and structured approach ensure that the budget and forecast process runs smoothly. Moreover, you think about developing a strong supply chain performance and you are fully involved in the business. You understand End-2-End processes and know how to understand financial reports and systems and link information.

You are part of the Finance & Control department, which consists of the Financial Shared Service Center, the BI & Planning team and a team of Business Controllers. Together we are committed to (company-wide) projects and initiate them where necessary. As a Business Controller you participate in the MT of the factory for Koga, Sparta and Batavus and are the finance business partner who thinks in terms of possibilities. You also work together with other business controllers from Accell’s other factories and think about synergies, standardization and efficiencies. You report directly to the Finance Director Operations & Supply chain.

  • Supporting the decision-making process and optimizing the performance of purchasing, factory and quality teams through analyses;
  • Developing financial issues, including analyzes and reports;
  • Performance analyzes of the past and present, with also a strong focus on the future through business cases;
  • Providing complex analyzes and improvement proposals, making you a strategic advisor and sparring partner for the business;
  • Analyzing internal financial processes and making proposals for optimization, improvement or standardization, and implementing and maintaining these after approval;
  • Supervising and organizing the budget and forecast process and preparing and discussing monthly reports.
  • A completed business economics education at master’s level and a financial direction;
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience as a Business Controller, in an FMCG or Retail or production organization;
  • Knowledge and experience with legislation and regulations (IFRS, etc.);
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both written and oral;
  • Excellent advisory skills, tenacity and persuasiveness;
  • Organizationally sensitive, a good listener, dares to ask questions and challenge others in a constructive way;
  • Extensive experience with Excel, data analysis, business cases and scenario analyses.
