Reporting directly to the Shared Services Director, this professional will be responsible for ensuring the financial reliability of the group’s industrial costs, valuation of stocks and products sold. He will also be responsible for allocating costs by production phase and financial information regarding CAPEX and fixed assets.

• Ensure the correct closure of Cimpor group companies;
• Ensure complete inventory management including valuation, annual physical inventory and reconciliation with SAP system, identify and correct any discrepancies;
• Responsible for creating, maintaining and optimizing the cost and profit structure, providing insights for strategic decision making;
• Prepare and support the different business areas in analyses/reports of industrial costs, inventories, among others;
• Periodically monitor operations carried out by other departments, ensuring accurate accounting;
• Ensure accuracy and timely posting of intra-group transactions related to materials;
• Monitor CAPEX and Fixed Assets from a financial perspective and provide inputs to the various business areas and departments;
• Assist with CAPEX reporting on a monthly basis, ensuring correct data consistency;
• Monitor and support the costs, CAPEX and fixed assets of the group’s African companies;
• Monitor internal and external audits;
• Maintain existing internal controls and procedures, as well as any necessary new controls and procedures, related to inventory, costs and related systems;
• Conduct timely and detailed reviews of all financial reports;
• Carry out ad hoc projects/analysis.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Management or Economics;
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in similar roles;
• Solid knowledge of fixed assets and cost calculation;
• Good knowledge of Accounting;
• Good knowledge of IFRS;
• Knowledge of SAP;
• Good knowledge of IT;
• Good knowledge of English (Advanced/Fluent);
• Knowledge of French (Valued).
