We are looking for a CFO (m/f/d) with management experience at the administrative headquarters in Ludwigshafen.
- Leading the finance department with a team of department heads
- Development and motivation of the team with regard to the adaptation and optimization of processes within the framework of a financial shared service center organization (SSC)
- Responsibility for the General Ledger area with regard to the preparation of individual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for all global companies
- Responsible for the subsidiary ledgers area
- Carrying out financial reporting to management
- Adaptation and optimization of the closing processes with regard to integration into the SSC
- General support and development of SSO financial services and standards
- Analysis of finance processes with a view to promoting productivity increases and innovations
- Driving the standardization and harmonization of finance processes at a global level (e.g. establishing global guidelines and requesting appropriate changes)
- Optimization of existing and introduction of new standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensuring consistent use of Financial SSO by global companies
- Migration of existing processes that are transferred to the SSO, adopting the group standard
- Supporting the use of technologies to increase efficiency (e.g. use of Robotic Process Automation (“RPA”) etc.)
- Control processes and process performance from start to finish to guide the identification of optimization potential and the evaluation and coordination of project options
- Monitoring implementation and compliance with industry standards and new legal or regulatory requirements (management of changes)
- Successfully completed degree in business administration or comparable training
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in adapting finance processes with a view to establishing an SSC structure or experience in working in SSC structures
- Experience in managing managers (head of department)
- Experience in analyzing and optimizing business processes. Communicative skills, diplomatic skills
- Ability to initiate and moderate change projects
- Ability to motivate teams in change projects and consolidate team structures
- Pragmatic approach, unconventional thinking
- Intercultural Competence
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent English skills
- Experience in SAP
