I am lucky enough to be working with an Automation and Change consultancy who are looking to hire a Change Manager (GBS) with Global Business Services experience on a permanent basis in either the UK or Poland. This is only open to UK or EU applicants, but it is remote for those with relevant passport/visa status.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to create and implement change strategies that align with our business goals and objectives. Ensure that the GBS transformation is executed smoothly and effectively.
  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders across the organization, including GBS teams, business units, and external partners. Build relationships and communicate the benefits of change effectively.
  • Develop detailed change management plans that include clear objectives, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs). These plans should encompass communication strategies, training programs, and resistance management.
  • Design and execute communication plans that keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the change process. Ensure that messages are consistent, transparent, and tailored to various audiences.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for GBS teams and other impacted personnel. Ensure that training materials are relevant and support the successful adoption of changes.
  • Monitor and assess the adoption of changes within the GBS environment. Identify and address any obstacles or resistance to change, and adapt strategies as needed to ensure successful implementation.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with the change process, ensuring that potential issues are addressed promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the GBS function, seeking opportunities to optimize processes and deliver value to the organization.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change initiatives. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Change Management, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Change Manager with a focus on Global Business Services (GBS) or shared services environments.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
  • Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is desirable.
