Are you an experienced accounting professional with an eye for quality and compliance? We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our global organization as a Chief Accounting Officer. This is a senior-level position with significant responsibilities in challenging and supporting our financial shared services in improving quality and ensuring compliance with accounting and control guidelines and regulations.

• Challenging and supporting our global accounting operations in improving the quality and ensuring compliance with accounting and control guidelines and regulations
• Drive improvement initiatives on compliance and quality
• Support the development of our teams, especially those located in Pune, India.
• Act as a coach for expert functions based out of Pune, India, such as Financial Control, Internal Control and Treasury employees to support their professional development.
• Monitor and assess internal controls related to accounting operations to safeguard the company’s assets and mitigate risk.
• Provide guidance and training to global financial shared services team on J-Sox and IFRS compliance matters.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
• Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth processes.

• Bachelor’s or university degree in Accounting or Finance, with a relevant professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA.
• At least 15 years working experience in a global environment.
• Proven experience as a Chief Accounting Officer or similar role, in a global organization.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with accounting operations and shared service environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (J-Sox)
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with function and cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to oversee a team effectively.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
