The Chief Executive, HealthShare NSW is accountable to the Secretary of NSW Health and responsible to the HealthShare NSW Board to lead the maturing and consolidation of the NSW Health shared services program, guiding business transformation to continually add value and enhance the customer experience.
The Chief Executive will ensure that HealthShare NSW delivers a safe, commercially competitive and innovative service, with a highly responsive and accountable customer service culture at all levels of the business. Responsibilities also include:
- Being responsive to the changing needs and priorities of the public health system and managing stakeholder relationships and expectations by balancing the competing interests of various groups within and external to the public health system.
- Guiding and leading the organisation’s workplace culture, while managing employees through periods of change and continuing to deliver high quality, customer focused, support services to customers.
- Ensuring a full range of corporate support, which supports the Ministry’s clinical and business reform agenda, is provided to all public health organisations and is delivered on time and on budget.
Candidates will need to:
- Be a commercially astute, executive leader with experience across diverse operations in a large scale, complex service delivery environment. Experience within the health system and/or government will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrate extensive experience liaising and negotiating with a diverse range government and non-government stakeholders and agencies to influence constructive outcomes.
- Demonstrate the capability to foster a positive, constructive culture that encourages high performance while supporting the safety and wellbeing of the team.
- Demonstrate a record of achievement in leading transformational, customer centric change through business partnerships and innovative models of service delivery.
