We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Director of Finance to work closely with our CFO to drive excellence in financial operations across MMI’s diverse management and real estate shared service platform.

Financial

• Collaborate with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives
• Ensure the timely and accurate production of monthly financial statements, reviewing them for accuracy before distribution to key stakeholders
• Analyze variances versus budget and prior year; Report significant items to the CFO and division leaders.
• Oversee the preparation and management of corporate budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

Operations

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance and operational efficiency
• Identify and implement process improvements to facilitate operational efficiencies and profitability
• Liaison with divisional leaders and Vice President of Human Resources to annually review, amend and update bonus plans.
• Communicate financial performance and operational updates to stakeholders, including the executive team and board of directors

Risk Management

• Identify financial risks, develop mitigation processes, and collaborate across the shared services platform to implement
• Ensure appropriate insurance coverage is in place and manage all policy compliance.
• In partnership with the Accounting Director, ensure compliance with all local, state and federal government reporting requirements.
• Organize and maintain all files and records related to Secretary of State filings, liquor licenses, sales, and property tax payments.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA is preferred but not required
• Minimum of three years of experience in a Corporate Finance or Accounting department
• Must have advanced proficiency in Excel including, but not limited to, the ability to create complex formulas, perform advanced data analysis, and develop dynamic scenario modeling.
• Ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail while effectively communicating how these details support broader objectives
• Knowledge of hospitality and real estate finance is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with Accounting software; M3 experience is a plus
