AtWork Personnel is partnering with a local Gaming Company that is looking for a Controller to join their Las Vegas, Nevada based Corporate Headquarter Office. The Controller will be an integral contributor and advisor to the CFO, Executive Management Team, and other Department Leaders, i.e., Legal, IT, Operations, Risk Management, HR, and Marketing. Experience in Gaming, inclusive of property and corporate is a must, as is a CPA designation.
- 10-15+ years progressive work history in accounting, with a thorough knowledge of accounting frameworks and the ability to apply this knowledge to complex business transactions and financial reporting scenarios.
- Proven effective financial management and controls, including development of policies and procedures, optimization and improvement of systems.
- Systems Implementations, or at a minimum participation in new or revised process improvements.
- Experience with Shared Service Operating Model.
- Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions Integrated Accounting.
- Solid background in SOX and Regulatory Compliance.
- Tax Experience preferred, or at a minimum support of External Resource.
- Treasury and Cash Management.
- Experience as a Partner to other Business Leaders, i.e., Legal, IT, Operations, Risk Management, HR, Marketing in support of setting contract terms, and risk management.
- Gaming/Casino Experience
- Degree in Accounting
- CPA is Required for Consideration
