At our world class facility at Riccarton Edinburgh, our European Shared Service Accounting Department currently has an exciting career opportunity for a Credit Controller based at our site in Riccarton, Edinburgh.The European Shared Service Accounting Department within Charles River is responsible for providing a full range of services for employees, suppliers, customers and senior management. Our aim is to deliver quality services in a timely and efficient manner.
- Allocate cash receipts to outstanding invoices in SAP system
- Contact clients in accordance with credit control procedures to chase payment of invoices
- Deal with client requests for information regarding outstanding invoices
- Maintain records of client contact
- Contact new clients to confirm receipt of invoices and payment procedures
- Prepare analyses of overdue debts as required
- Provide back-up as required in invoice/contract processing duties
- Previous experience of working in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable function required.
- Standard grade passes in Maths and English.
- Excellent organizational skills together with strong problem solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience of working in a busy Finance office and familiarity with integrated finance software such as SAP and Excel.
