Substantive contact with our customers, taking responsibility for making agreements regarding funds and ensuring that these are complied with? That is what you do as a Credit Controller at Heras. The Credit Management department takes care of the Credit Management activities of various Heras entities within a number of European countries in the context of a Shared Service Center. Your focus will be on the accounts receivable portfolio of Heras Mobile Fencing & Security. We have partly outsourced the first-line debtor monitoring of our customers to an external agency. You fulfill a substantive and coordinating role in this, in which you ensure that the agreements made are complied with. You will also involve our Sales Department in current cases to ensure they run as smoothly as possible. You are responsible for the monitoring, follow-up and management of your accounts receivable portfolios for both national and international customers (in accordance with the agreed work processes and procedures) and you are accountable to the Credit Manager within Heras. In addition, the following components are part of your tasks:
- Assessing (existing) credit limits based on financial information.
- Coordinating role towards our outsourcing partner regarding first-line debtor monitoring.
- Registering and coordinating disputes.
- Drawing up analyzes regarding age, risks and creditworthiness of (new) customers.
- Close coordination with the Credit Manager, Finance and Sales Department in, among other things, releasing orders and providing reports for the month-end closing.
- MBO level 4 diploma, preferably supplemented with Credit Management-related education/training
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- You enjoy doing administrative work
- You are proactive, numerically strong, driven and accurate
- You master the Dutch and English language, spoken and written
- You have experience in a B2B environment
- You are available between 32 and 40 hours and can spread this over at least 4 days
- A completed MBO level 4 course supplemented with a Credit Management related course and/or training
- You master the Dutch language, spoken and written
- Available 36 – 40 hours
- Good communication skills, both oral and written, in Dutch and English and at least one other language (French and/or German)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- You are numerically strong, driven and accurate
