- Manages cost, inventory, fixed asset and related month-end close processes for both AML and AMPI set of books
- Manages accurate roll-up and update of Oracle standard cost and calculation of transfer price.
- Reviews Probe/Assembly/Test/Grind/RM Freight variance to standards, PPV and trends
- Reviews job lot variance, assembly yield variance, cycle time and trends
- Manages fixed asset and reviews related reports on CIP, depreciation and others
- Develops cost projections for COGS and COGS components
- Manages and controls inventory valuations, reserve calculations, cycle count, raw material shortage and expiration alerts, physical inventory, and reconciliations
- Reviews cost analyses and accounting entries 9. Ensures that issues on raw material shortage in shop floor, expiration and usage rate are attended to
- Recommends and develops accounting procedures and system enhancement
- Promotes a discipline of continuous process improvement to seek opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensures statutory and SOX compliance and provides support to internal and external audits
- Participates in streamlining and managing an effective cost accounting system, cost and budget analysis and review
- Coordinates and responds to queries and concerns of operations, support departments, finance other groups in US.
- Manages capex system and monitors capital spending against plan
- Supports, develops and elicits skills and capabilities of the team members for personal and company’s growth
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant is an advantage
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience in Finance or Cost Accounting
- At least 3 years managerial experience
- In-depth knowledge of entire finance and accounting function including techniques, practices in costing, inventory and fixed asset management
- Keen on details and ability to explain them
- Ability to establish and execute financial controls
- Thorough knowledge of local finance and accounting practices
- Abreast with government and industry practices
- A firm grasp of all accounting functions
- Thorough knowledge of Philippine tax laws and other government regulations
- Ability to comply with all legal and regulatory requirement
- Formulates strategy and sets clear direction
- Influences, communicates and presents effectively
- Develops financial and resource plans
- Manages budget and allocates resources effectively
- Ability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Assesses team success and addresses problems
- Conducts performance reviews
