As Deputy Director, you are part of the executive board, and you step into an influential role where, in close association with the Executive Director and the rest of the management group, you will have the opportunity to leave your mark on both the operations and development of the organization, as well as to actively contribute to strengthening the overall management.

• You will undertake the execution and goal fulfillment of the Ministry of Defence’s Accounting Authority’s goal and performance plan agreed with the Ministry of Defence’s department, including prioritizing areas of action and setting frameworks and goals.
• Contributes to strong cross-departmental collaboration between departments and ensures a common understanding of the importance of everyone’s contribution and function as a prerequisite for an effective organization.
• Ensures stable operations, but continues to keep an eye on and prioritize resources to develop the organization so that the organization can raise the already high level.

We would like you to have experience working in a politically controlled organization. You have a relevant higher education, e.g. a Master of Science in Business Administration, and you must also have solid experience in managing managers at executive level and a career path that can match the job in a busy and ambitious board.

You have a high level of professional background and extensive experience in finance, accounting and auditing, and are creative in terms of professional and technical solutions for the benefit of the organization. It is also essential that you have the skills, will and experience to promote and lead tasks in a complex environment.
