- Lead and manage a team of professionals involved in financial processes & Operations for Unifeeder, providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Review and enhance existing financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to best practices.
- Implement process improvements and automation to streamline financial workflows.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies. Coordinate with internal and external auditors as necessary.
- Lead and manage organization-level projects, including process migrations and other initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial processes with organizational goals, fostering a cohesive and integrated approach to business operations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.
- Identify opportunities for further efficiency gains and implement best practices to enhance overall financial processes.
- Showcase comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and standards. Proficient in ERP systems of any of the major providers in the market; experienced in NAV is a plus.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering professional development and improving overall department performance.
- MBA or Postgraduate in Finance or Accounting
- 10+ years of experience in Managing Shared Service Finance organizations (P2P, R2R, OTC).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Detail-oriented and analytical to dive into the details.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks and follow-ups effectively.
- Experience working in a global or multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, cross-functional teams, and upper management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with relevant software, tools, and technologies in the shipping and logistics industry.
- Ability to leverage technology for process improvements.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Finance Graduate and 10+ years of experience and preferably 5+ years of experience with a Shipping and Logistic Organization (Should have managed financial processes),
