This is an opportunity to oversee the direction and provision of critical operational services to Financial Markets Group, including the services that underpin the RBA’s monetary policy implementation and financial market transactions.

• Guide and enable the team to deliver critical operational support, data management and presentation, and large scale projects for critical business services in Financial Markets Group.
• Have a very strong focus on collaboration with other areas of the Bank, in particular Information Technology, Payments Settlements and the Risk and Control functions, to deliver organisational outcomes.
• Motivate, foster and inspire a culture aligned to the Bank’s values, enabling an environment for high levels of staff engagement and performance.
• Anticipate and effectively manage issues and risks, ensuring processes are consistent with the Bank’s risk appetite.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement while maintaining very high levels of quality assurance and service delivery across the various portfolios.

• Proven experience leading, developing and motivating teams to deliver effective critical operational support, data management and presentation, and large scale projects in areas such as treasury management systems, data security, risk management and incident response.
• Experience leading large teams with an emphasis on quality control, project delivery, and staff capability development.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
