We are seeking a full-time Director of Revenue Cycle Management Service Delivery who possesses outstanding people skills and strong management experience to effectively lead revenue cycle initiatives across approx. 24 USPI surgical hospitals.
The ideal candidate we are looking for is a positive, driven individual who does not accept mediocrity, seeks and finds areas of opportunity, and strives to be a resourceful leader to be an integral team member and leader. This leader will drive performance initiatives and process improvements across multiple short-stay surgical hospitals.
- Monitor the day-to-day business metrics and revenue cycle needs, to ensure key financial and revenue cycle goals are met; this leader will work with approx. 24 surgical hospitals across 6 states.
- Act as a liaison between surgical hospital CFOs/facility-based business office managers and our Centralized Business Office (CBO) team.
- Evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, implementing improvements and optimizing revenue cycle related functions.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of, and offer training on revenue cycle best practices across surgical hospital facilities.
- Demonstrate appropriate delegation of tasks and duties to develop staff and build an environment of collective responsibility and accountability.
- Communicate and work with all departments/external teams to ensure quality service and effective working relationships.
- Oversee a newly created centralized insurance verification team that will be growing and expanding services provided to facilities.
- Evaluate opportunities for and implement additional shared services support functions for facilities.
- Coordinate company activities, staff meetings and plan agendas/itineraries, as needed.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships, contracts, and agreements.
- Implement policies and procedures to optimize operations.
- Hold a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients, patients, and staff members.
- Practice patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and company policy.
- Represent a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management/Administration, Healthcare Administration or related degree preferred.
- 5 years of working experience as a Director of Revenue Cycle or relatable position managing large teams and multiple revenue cycle processes.
- Exceptional project management and interpersonal skills to connect multiple stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong self-awareness and emotional intelligence to develop a culture of trust, communication, and accountability across the organization.
- Passion for helping and developing others to perform at their best to take company success to the next level.

- Avid learner – persistent in expanding surgical and non-surgical knowledge and learning various styles, techniques and approaches of all Providers
- Presentation skills – Excellent articulation to effectively and confidently communicate with others
- Computer skills – must be proficient in using Microsoft Office, EMR, HRIS systems & other computer applications; Cerner experience helpful
