This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton’s sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a Director Americas Marketing Strategy, Luxury you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton’s “commercial engine” and are important to Hilton’s ability to achieve profitable growth. On the America’s Marketing team reporting to Sr Director Americas Marketing Regional Strategy, you will work on projects including, marketing our Luxury category-leading hotel brands (Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR) in partnership with our Global Brand Marketing Organization and Americas Commercial Organization.
What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like
- Manage annual strategic marketing plans for the Luxury category in the Americas region by planning process in partnership with Global Marketing and Americas Commercial teams
- Research the consumer and business needs to define and prioritize objectives then translate them into actionable integrated marketing plans
- Brief the creation of mid and lower-funnel marketing creative to increase top-line revenue, grow market share, build brand loyalty, and influence consumer preference for Hilton Luxury brands in the Americas
- Serve the needs of both brand and business goals by solving gaps in performance, driving analysis, measurement, evaluation for luxury initiatives and opportunities in the region.
- Deliver and advocate for marketing through insight-driven storytelling of performance and recommendations into program effectiveness garnering support from partners.
- Develop a regional luxury presence that aligns and localizes brand specific goal as outlined by global brand marketing strategy
How You Will Collaborate With Others
- You will partner with a team of marketing experts to direct plans throughout the season in response to dynamic market conditions, while using data to build momentum and consensus for your ideas.
- You will be the trusted thought and accountability partner to the Hilton Luxury Global Brand Marketing leaders and Commercial Services leadership team
- Collaborate with and influence partners in the matrix and manage up, down, and diagonally across the enterprise, with a focus on Global Marketing, Marketing Centers of Excellence, and Commercial Leadership.
What Projects You Will Take Ownership Of
- Develop programs and partnership strategies that align with larger marketing goals
- Differentiate Hilton from competitors in our priority markets.
You Have These Minimum Qualifications
- Ten (10) years marketing experience
- Five (5) years of experience leading teams in a global, matrix company
- Experience with customer-centric (multichannel media, content, social, CRM) AND commercial-focused (traffic, purchase intent, conversion) marketing tactics
- Cross-regional experience (Canada, the US, and Latin America)
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule (3 days per week) from the McLean, VA office
It Would Be Useful If You Have
- Master of Business Administration
- Experience in Luxury marketing for a hospitality company or in a similar segment
- Experience at a franchising company
