The Project Manager of Shared Services will act as a team lead and assist the Manager of Shared Services in overseeing and supporting a team that manages end-to-end projects for Relationship Managers (“RM”), Sales, and other initiatives supporting Morgan Stanley at Work.
The ideal candidate is technically proficient and possesses strong communication skills. They excel in building relationships with colleagues driving successful project outcomes and contributing to process enhancement. With a focus on adaptability and continuous improvement, the Project Manager thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of their responsibilities to ensure partner success and satisfaction.
- Act as a point of contact for team members, addressing their concerns and facilitating effective communication within the team.
- Take ownership of specific projects and execute tasks, while also working closely with the manager to allocate resources and manage project queue and priorities.
- Assist with oversight of daily operations, ensuring tasks and projects are completed on time and to the required standards.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures and best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the offshore operations.
- Assist in implementing new tools, technologies, and processes to streamline workflows and enhance the team’s performance.
- Assist in facilitating communication between offshore team and onshore departments, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field required.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial services, FinTech, equity compensation or related industries
- Proficiency in software and web applications, including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce, with a willingness to learn new tools as necessary.
- Proven success in leading teams and executing solutions to develop strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively problem-solve, and manage projects simultaneously.
- Experience in customer service or client-facing roles, demonstrating the ability to understand and address client needs effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on continuous learning and training opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
