This position is located in the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Application and Digital Solutions (S-86) organization. Its primary mission is to provide advisory services relating to the Department’s application development and digital solutions to ensure a modem, accessible, and user-centered approach to mission and support systems. The Director of Enterprise Platforms Delivery & Digital Communications leads a team of about 7 employees to apply human-centered design and related techniques to deliver outstanding digital experiences.
- Manages enterprise platforms as a shared service including, but not limited to: Web Content Management (Acquia Drupal), Customer Relationship Management (Microsoft Dynamics), and others that may be identified.
- Leads both federal and contractor teams to deliver simple, seamless, and secure digital experiences leveraging these enterprise platforms.
- recovery, and contract oversight.
- Driving digital transformation using enterprise shared services, to include meeting Federal digital and customer experience requirements.
- Managing a team of strategic communications experts that apply human-centered design and related techniques to deliver outstanding digital experiences.
- Senior level experience driving Digital Transformation using enterprise shared services to meet client experience requirements.
- Senior level experience developing strategic, long-range, and tactical plans to accomplish the mission, strategic goals, and corporate management strategies.
- Senior level experience in Digital Experience (ie. UI/UX, Drupal, and third-party tool management,
- Senior level experience in information technology (IT) management policy relating to web and new media, and IT strategic direction.
- Senior level experience performing supervisory authorities for staff: Making decisions on work problems presented by team leaders, or similar personnel, or by contractors; including planning and establishing employee work schedules, deadlines, and standards for acceptable work.
- Preferred Trainings/Certifications: FAC P/PM Level 3, FAC COR Level 3, Digital IT Acquisition Professional (DITAP)
