About This Role

iRhythm is currently seeking an experienced Director of Finance in our Manila, Philippines office. Our work environment is fast-paced, with a collaborative atmosphere. The Director, Finance Shared Services manages and coordinates the delivery of financial shared services for all of the Company’s legal entities through the following business processes:

  • Record to Report (General Ledger; Asset Management; Cash Management)
  • Order to Cash (Credit Analysis; Order Management; Billing, Cash Application)
  • Procure to Pay (Accounts Payable; Corporate Card Administration, Expense Report Processing)
  • Pay Team Members (Payroll)
  • Stock Administration
  • Coordinate activities with Accounting and FP&A to ensure accurate financial results and maintain adequate internal controls environment
  • Support invoicing and collections process and other transactional support for local activities.
  • Monitor and report out on key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, controls and policies as needed
  • Support organization for rapid expansion into other geographies

In addition, the Director is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the Global shared services strategy, developing and adopting globally standardized processes across all operations and leading on-going process improvement opportunities across financial functions.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Support in the development and delivery of standalone Philippines P&L including accurate and consistent monthly cost allocations for operational and non-operational costs
  • Lead all aspects of monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes for Philippines P&L including the alignment across business units / functions. Establish efficient and effective processes, cadences, and templates that drive quality and accuracy
  • Understand cost drivers and work with business partners to provide accurate and timely Budget and Forecast
  • Performs month end variance analysis for management and other ad-hoc analyses
  • Develop and/or enhance existing financial models to enable robust and dynamic financial planning on a rolling basis.
  • Deliver world-class customer service to all businesses served by the Global Finance Shared Services Center, which includes maintaining high expectations for professionalism and integrity.
  • Professional mentoring and development of staff.
  • Recruitment and retention of world class talent, including management of new talent pipeline.
  • Promotes and maintains responsibility and overall accountability for the internal control environment, accurate transactional processing in compliance with SOX requirements (e.g. Quality Control), and accurate, timely financial data.
  • Leads and manages day to day operational activities of Global Finance Shared Services Center which includes: General Ledger, Asset Management, Cash Management, Order Management, Billing, Credit Management, Accounts Payable, Corporate Card Administration and Payroll. Each key functional area will have a leader who will report directly to this position.
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, reviewing and reporting KPIs or SLAs in each functional area to monitor service delivery.
  • Leads and manages the technical and interpersonal skills training requirements for the Finance SSC team members.
  • Leads and manages the business process improvement activities within the Finance SSC.
  • Leads and manages the Finance SSC month-end, quarterly, and year-end close activities in accordance with the Corporate financial planning and reporting calendar.
  • Supports the consolidation and reporting team in preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Supports development of and enforces compliance with accounting and/or Company policies.
  • Develops and maintains robust framework for global standardized process compliance within the Finance SSC, which includes standardized global processes and a compliance self-audit program.
  • Support internal, external and other regulatory audit requirements.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with business partners and process owners

  • Minimum degree of BA, BBA or equivalent degree in finance or accounting.
  • CPA or equivalent certification.
  • 10+ years’ experience in a financial role with 7+ years in a managerial role.
  • Previous experience in a Senior Financial Management role leading a team of 20+.
  • Previous experience in a shared services delivery role within a global company.
  • Previous experience building and expanding Global Shared Service functions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage people.
  • Demonstrated managerial courage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ERP systems knowledge.
  • Previous experience with applying lean/six sigma principles in a transactional environment and leading process improvement / transformation.
