We are looking for a Director, SSC Site Lead to join Fortum’s Financial and Operational Procurement Services (FPS). You are people leader, responsible for leading and developing Fortum FPS SSC Gdansk capability and organization in tight co-operation with Delivery Leads.

• Act as a site manager for FPS SSC Gdańsk
• Oversee service delivery and the day-to-day operations of FPS Gdańsk, following workflow efficiency, addressing operational challenges, and ensuring teams have the necessary resources and support to meet performance standards
• Lead FPS site leadership team across delivery streams in matrix ensuring effective leadership and compliance on site. Cultivate a productive workplace that supports team collaboration, growth, and alignment with strategic goals
• Follow FPS KPIs on site and propose actions when needed
• Collaborate with Delivery Leads and People team to design and deliver different initiatives on site like training programs and upskilling actions
• Ensure cross-functional collaboration and One Fortum approach on site
• Master local competitive landscape in SSC environment and ensures Fortum’s active participation in needed stakeholder forums
• Drive excellent employee and customer experience on site

• You have a suitable Master’s degree or equivalent competencies in e.g. business administration, finance, HR and at least 5-7 years of working experience in relevant field.
• You have excellent leadership skills in the international environment and you are used to be working in a matrix organization. You have good understanding of shared services operations, including process optimization, resource allocation, performance tracking and business continuity planning. You have a proven track record of leading diverse teams, fostering a positive and engaging culture, and supporting employee development. Having a good understanding of SSC capabilities locally is highly appreciated.
