KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Functional Resource Manager to join our Tax Shared Services organization.
- Participate with Executive Director in the design and delivery of staffing strategies and initiatives for Tax Shared Services; ensure consistency of leading practices for resource planner duties across Tax Shared Services
- Take on leadership of the Tax Shared Services Resource Management group including strategy implementation; build consensus and buy-in from those not in your chain of command and management of teams
- Collaborate with other groups such as Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Global Mobility, Learning and Development, Campus and Experienced Hire Recruiting to ensure plans for Tax Shared Services are achievable
- Lead performance management activities for Tax Shared Services resource planners
- Handle project management of special initiatives in support of Tax Shared Services leadership
- Minimum ten years of recent experience in one or more business related areas including: finance, accounting, human resources, resource management, or general business operations; minimum six years of recent experience as a direct supervisor for a staff consisting of different professional levels
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, accounting, finance, human resources or related field or equivalent in years of work experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as develop strategy and implement with buy-in from regional leadership including acting as a trusted advisor
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and negotiating skills required
- Must be willing to travel within the US as well as India
