Director, Global Business Services will report to the Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and be a key member of TechnipFMC leadership driving the global shared services strategy. The General Manager will lead cross functional site activities and directly support the Record to Report and Source to Pay and GBS teams in Noida driving global strategy, digital transformation, transition of work to GBS, financial and people management.
- Lead and manage the shared services center ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to internal customers.
- Manage the performance of the shared services center team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the shared services center.
- Lead and develop Record to Report and Source to Pay GBS Operations teams.
- Promote a lean culture and environment where teams are encouraged to continuously learn, improve processes, solve problems and develop skills.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional leaders to transform and improve quality of processes operating at GBS by leveraging technology and process simplification ahead of our OneERP program.
- Lead the global strategy for transitioning additional processes to GBS ahead of OneERP.
- Responsible for delivery of process based Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Responsible for communication of strategy, initiatives and critical performance metrics to executive leadership.
- Accountable for day-to-day budget management and reporting processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, ensuring responsiveness and meeting or exceeding their expectations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, internal controls, and local regulations.
- Responsible for recruiting and retaining talent while ensuring the continuous development of the GBS senior management team.
- Minimum 15 years of experience including Shared Services and leadership positions
- Strong understanding of shared services center operations and best practices with track record of successful leadership
- Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems, providing resolutions and dealing with ambiguity
- Apply continuous improvement to work, self and department to provide value-added results
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Understanding of risk, process and internal controls
- Ability to educate others, including management, on internal control issues
- Experience presenting and discussing results with executive leadership
- Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
- BS in Business Administration, Finance or related field
- Fluent in English
