The Director, HR Shared Services (HRSS) is responsible for developing and executing the strategy for the delivery of HR services to all MGM employees. This role provides day to day leadership for a staff of Shared Services generalists and specialists and is responsible for staffing, training, and performance management of the team.
- Direct the operations of HR Shared Services, including defining the strategy for providing a best-in-class employee experience, defining and meeting service level agreements, and driving operational performance metrics
- Optimize the case management platform and experience (in conjunction with the system of record) to continuously improve HR processes, workflow automation, and drive real-time support through self-service resources
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand business needs and strategic priorities to shape the enterprise-wide employee experience
- Lead and maintain a high-performing team through training and development of HR Shared Services leadership and staff to cultivate a culture of internal growth Ensure company HR processes, procedures, and policies are in compliance with the Department of Labor, gaming agencies, etc.
- Articulate HR Shared Services vision and complex processes to varied levels across the organization in assorted audience formats
- Provide strategic direction and coaching for HR leaders across the organization on HR Shared Services processes to produce a consistent enterprise-wide employee experience
- Perform other senior management responsibilities as required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources and/or business administration
- 3+ years of prior relevant experience in management in a high-volume Shared Services Environment
