Lifepoint Health has an opportunity for a Director, Human Capital Management (EBS) Hybrid position in Brentwood, TN. The Director, Human Capital Management is reporting to the VP of Human Capital Management, the position will support the design, development, and implementation of a future state enterprise services business model for Human Capital Management by interacting with cross-functional corporate, hospital and clinic executives to understand business requirements, identify policy and process impacts and change management needs. This will include the alignment of roles and teams with the services and volume of work, guiding principles of simplification, customer service, process improvement/efficiency, optimization of enabling technology, and reporting. The candidate will play a critical role in supporting the execution of Lifepoint’s strategic vision to build a high-performing Human Capital Management team servicing a national footprint of healthcare facilities.
- Support the development of a clear vision and strategy for the future state of the human capital management shared services operating model.
- Define the optimal structure, reporting lines, and skill sets required for effective and efficient human capital management operations.
- Assist in the development of a comprehensive service management framework, including service level agreements (SLAs) for Human Capital Management and governance mechanisms to ensure clear expectations, performance measurement, and accountability for shared services delivery.
- Contribute to the development of change strategies, communication plans, and training programs to ensure the smooth adoption and acceptance of new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the human capital management shared services team.
- Encourage innovative thinking, identify opportunities for process optimization, cost savings, and service enhancements, and drive initiatives to achieve these improvements.

- Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications
- Work closely with HR and other relevant departments to gather and analyze business requirements for HR functionalities.
- Support in translating business requirements into ERP solutions and specifications.
- Oversee the configuration of HR modules to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Ensure alignment of future state EBS design with industry best practices and compliance standards.

- Strong understanding of future shared services operating models, industry best practices, and emerging trends in human capital management operations.
- In-depth knowledge of human capital management transactional processes, such as recruitment, onboarding, timekeeping, and attendance, reporting and performance management.
- Proficiency in human capital management systems and applications, with the ability to leverage technology for process optimization and reporting enhancements.
- Proven experience in organizational design, including structuring teams, defining roles, and optimizing resource allocation.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead complex transformation initiatives and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Change management expertise, with the ability to drive cultural change and facilitate adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a track record of delivering business value through process optimization and operational excellence.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Capital Management or a related discipline (e.g., Psychology, Organization Development). Master’s degree in Human Capital Management or in Business Administration with a Human Resources concentration preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 7yrs.+ of experience in human capital management/human capital management systems and applications, including hands-on experience in shared services transformation, organization design and process improvement initiatives.
