Large Privately held Energy, Manufacturing and Renewables company in the Woodlands seeking a Director of Accounting for an on-site position. This is a full-time permanent position paying market base plus bonus and excellent benefits for employee and family. • Supports organization financial objectives by providing financial analyses and recommendations and directing staff.
• Responsible for and overseeing / preparing monthly financial reporting and month-end closing, financial analysis reports (variance analysis, budgeting, budget vs. actual and other analysis reporting), supervising operational accounting functions for shared services company.
• Provides financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation and consolidating financial information, and advising departments on the collection and analysis of data.
• Work with outside firm re: minimizing required taxes and analyzing and presenting tax strategies to management.
• Other reporting duties as need; interaction and presentation to management as needed.

• Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting or related degree
• CPA, CA or CMA required
• Prior big 4 or regional audit firm experience preferred
• Strong Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Leadership – Proven ability to supervise managers and staff; mentoring and training
• 7+ years Financial Reporting and Consolidations and analysis experience working with multiple subsidiaries using GAAP.
