ExecuSource is seeking a dynamic Director of Accounting & Shared Services to work closely with the VP, Controller in maintaining and enhancing the company’s financial reporting and consolidation processes. This role involves ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in financial reporting across all company subsidiaries, while adhering to GAAP standards.

• Collaborate with the controller to ensure adherence to financial reporting and consolidation processes and controls.
• Oversee the monthly closing process and manage general ledger systems, reporting, and controls using Blackline Task management tool.
• Act as a lead within the accounting team, providing expertise on NetSuite general ledger configuration, utilization, and controls, along with supporting applications and reporting tools.
• Collaborate closely with IT and other accounting teams to optimize system capabilities and controls.
• Manage the chart of accounts and reporting hierarchies centrally.
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement packages.
• Address ad-hoc requests from senior leadership and other members of the finance and accounting department promptly.
• Manage the annual audit and quarterly review processes, including preparing audit papers and coordinating with external auditors.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with reconciliation policies and procedures using Blackline account reconciliation tool.
• Recruit, develop, motivate, train, and retain a team of accounting professionals.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, with a preference for a concentration in accounting, MAcc, or MBA.
• 7-10 years of extensive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience should include a strong focus on financial reporting, month-end closing, compliance, and audit.
• Prior experience in a related industry is highly desirable.
• Active CPA license or equivalent certification is required.
