• Evaluate, recommend, and select employee benefit plans for health, life, and disability.
• Manage 20 healthcare plans across the shared service platform.
• Inform, educate, and influence senior management in each division about benefit options and future cost predictions for existing benefit programs.
• Develop, implement, and administer benefit programs, policies, and procedures.
• Manage a team of 5 benefits professionals.
• Renegotiate or reevaluate vendors for cost savings.
• Work with outside ERISA attorneys to keep plan documents legally compliant and review new plan documents.

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business, master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of benefits experience.
• Comprehensive employee benefits knowledge, including all legislative requirements.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
• Experience working in manufacturing, with locations in multiple states spanning multiple unions.
