- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Leadership Team and help lead the organization in high employee satisfaction.
- Lead the delivery of all Human Resources activities and initiatives for the Region in the areas of Compensation, Performance & Talent Management, Recruitment & Retention, and employee relations.
- Serve as the Regional Klüber HR Lead in partnership with Klüber in Mexico and Traxit in the US, in addition to the Freudenberg Corporate Center to ensure follow through on key HR initiatives and projects.
- Lead the Klüber Human Resources team; actively develop direct reports ensuring each individual has the opportunity to meet their full potential with continuous learning and growth opportunities.
- Drive culture and retention by supporting managers and employees in matters related to career development, staffing initiatives, employee relations, culture, and performance management.
- Implement development programs to identify and fill competency knowledge, and talent gaps. Identify and manage Klüber US strategic recruitment plans, succession planning for key contributors, as well as training and development programs to prepare employees for greater responsibility and professional growth.
- Serve as a key partner within the FCS HR shared services representing Klüber for the US locations (Londonderry NH, Tyler TX, Lyon MS).
- Coordinate and manage Local Leadership Development Programs, in addition to partnering with the Freudenberg Corporate Center on supporting additional Development Training Programs for employees at varying levels within the organization.
- Act as a liaison representing and reporting information & feedback to and from the Klüber Headquarters in Munich, Germany. Present to Klüber board members at annual meetings on the status of HR initiatives and projects.
- Lead Human Resources policy development and organizational commitment to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws related to employment, employee benefits, compensation, safety and health, and employee development.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline. Master’s Degree with concentration in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related discipline, preferred.
- 7+ years of related Human Resources experience. Demonstrated experience and success in Human Resources competencies of strategic HR management, employee relations, compensation, organizational development, and talent management. At least two years of management or leadership experience, required.
- Experience working within an HR Shared Services structure.
- Previous experience working with a global organization and in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
- Experience utilizing Human Resources Information Systems (Workday, ADP, Cornerstone, etc.).
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification or similar HR certification, preferred.
- Some national and international travel required.
- Ability to speak, read, and/or write Spanish is a plus.
- Strong influencing, collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills.
