Lindt & Sprüngli is searching for a Head of IT Infrastructure who will be responsible for planning, building, and running the IT local and global infrastructure and for managing the team reporting into the role.

The ideal candidate combines solid technical skills with proven experience as a leader and team worker.

The infrastructure used by the LSNA and Lindt & Sprüngli Business Units in North America and the infrastructure elements relevant for the Lindt Group are both in scope for this position.

• Provide enterprise strategic direction for local and global IT Infrastructure while working with key stake holders to establish appropriate standards and controls to maximize service levels while minimizing costs.
• Responsible for all aspects of data and communication networks, including enterprise voice solution, and ensure that the environment is maintained to provide reliable, stable, and high available services.
• Serve as the senior IT network leader and ensure that global standards are applicable and implemented in all regions.
• Ensure the LSNA datacenter is maintained to provide a stable and highly available IT infrastructure.
• Maintain valuable customer, service provider, and supplier relationships.
• Responsible for some line of business application used by LSNA.
• Responsible for coordinating the SAP Basis resources in-house and outsourced to 3rd parties.
• Plan, build, and manage the key identity and access management solutions used by Lindt (Active directory, Azure AD, ADFS).
• Responsible for developing Lindt’s cloud architecture (by technical and governance perspective) and for managing it once in place.
• Implement preventive/remediation actions related to the infrastructure following the inputs from the cyber-security strategy and operations.
• Have an overall understanding of the objectives and functions of the company, business units, and departments serviced by IT.
• Develop road maps, budget needs, and deliver projects on time and within the budget scope.
• Responsible for continuous improvements of all elements of the IT infrastructure locally and globally.
• Ensure the team works effectively on incidents resolution either directly or with external service providers.
• Ensure the infrastructure documentation is maintained and kept up to date.

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• At least 10 years of experience as supervisor/manager of a team with similar responsibilities.
• At least 5 years of experience in extensively managing external service providers.
• Experienced IT leader in network and datacenter operations.
• Solid foundational knowledge in server, database, storage, and security disciplines.
• Previous experience with SAP Basis would be a plus.
• Good knowledge of IT Service Management processes.
• First class communicator that can work closely with various teams and departments, getting everyone working towards one goal whilst maintaining relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with vendors, subordinates, colleagues, and customers at all levels.
• Self-driven and highly independent manager.
• Proven ability to discuss voice and data network, as well as datacenter and cloud operation concepts and strategies in simple, clear terms to help drive and influence decision making process.
• Broad knowledge of all technology considerations (performance, scalability, maintainability, deployment, operations, technology infrastructure).
• Ability to effectively plan and control projects.
• Available for traveling to Lindt & Sprüngli Business Units.
