The Adara Group consists of an international development organisation called Adara Development that supports communities living in poverty with health, education and other essential services. It also includes two corporate advisory businesses, Adara Partners and Adara Advisors, which are ‘for purpose’ rather than for profit. Their sole objective is to fund Adara Development’s administration and emergency project costs. This allows 100% of other donations to go directly to project-related costs.

• Oversee the finance function across the Adara Group worldwide, including budgeting and forecasting, taxation, financial governance, and team management.
• Work with the Global Leadership Team to shape the strategic direction, performance and impact of Adara Development.
• Lead and develop a team of 10, including 3 direct reports across finance, business planning, and budgeting.
• Lead the development of the People and Culture and Office strategy and initiatives.
• Work with the legal team to ensure policies and procedures align with global best practice.
• Report to the CEOs of Adara’s international development organisation and its corporate advice businesses on finance, people and culture, and office management.

• At least 10 years’ experience working in a senior finance/operations role, ideally in a for-purpose or values-driven organisation.
• A tertiary qualification in accounting, ideally with CA/CPA qualification.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills with a diverse, dynamic and committed team.
• Experience in upskilling people and culture functions.
• Passion for social justice.
• Flexible, self-starter, agile with an ability to cope with varied priorities.
• A drive and ambition to improve processes and efficiencies.
