- Evaluate, recommend, and select employee benefit plans for health, life, and disability.
- Manage 20 healthcare plans across the shared service platform.
- Inform, educate, and influence senior management in each division about benefit options and future cost predictions for existing benefit programs.
- Develop, implement, and administer benefit programs, policies, and procedures.
- Manage a team of 5 benefits professionals.
- Renegotiate or reevaluate vendors for cost savings.
- Work with outside ERISA attorneys to keep plan documents legally compliant and review new plan documents.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business, master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of benefits experience.
- Comprehensive employee benefits knowledge, including all legislative requirements.
- Proficient computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience working in manufacturing, with locations in multiple states spanning multiple unions.
