- Assist with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in the APAC region in accordance with stated corporate objectives and specific country legal requirements
- Coordinates and/or conducts employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs
- Research employee benefits plans and vendors to identify those that present the best value. Negotiate with vendors and administrators for best plans, options and rates as our employee base grows
- Builds an award-winning, high-performance culture and works closely with the business leads on strategic initiatives to meet business objectives
- Coordinates distribution/communication of projects including but not limited to Employee Policy handbook, policies and employee recognition
- Identifies potential employee-relations issues and makes recommendations to management
- Conducts investigations into company-guideline violations
- Assists in administration of company benefits and compensation programs, and payroll
- Ongoing leadership coaching and coordination of additional trainings for new and current management
- Serve as a strategic advisor and business partner to your colleagues on the Executive Team, helping to navigate opportunities and challenges across their business lines and teams
- Oversee Talent Acquisition team in APAC, HR Operations and any other related roles created to support the growth of our global organization
- Develop and oversee programs to foster a diverse and inclusive culture and workplace
- Help lead strategy & execution of talent development and L&D activities along with Operations and training leaders across the organization
- Conducts exit interviews with employees; communicates findings to management and identifies opportunities for the agency to strengthen
- Foster a highly effective and engaged remote culture by re-evaluating current policies, benefits, and “Fun Committee” activities to ensure staff remains connected while 100% virtual
- Full responsibility for planning, monitoring and managing department budget.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by President and CEO
- 8-10+ Years related Human Resource experience across Total Rewards/ Benefits Administration, HR Systems, Legal and Compliance, Employee Relations & Performance, Employee Recognition & Engagement, Culture and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Policy & Procedures, and Payroll & Compensation
- 5+ years in a Leadership role, with recent experience at the Associate Director or VP level for a smaller organization in Asia
- Oversight or strong collaboration with Talent Acquisition required
- Experienced building an HR department in a high growth environment or an agency/service -driven organization strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of employment laws in the APAC region
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally within a related field. MBA a plus
- Proficient on HRIS systems for daily tasks in addition to vetting, implementing, reporting, and integrations preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate with various teams on company-wide initiatives in a widely-dispersed global team
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, communication, and consulting skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, manage priorities and workflows, and meet deadlines with autonomy
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage sensitive situations tactfully
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence, with a knack for analytics
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Creative, flexible, and innovative in approach, with demonstrated ability to stay on top of latest trends and applicable laws
- Commitment to excellence and high standards, with a bias for action
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
