The incumbent should bring thought leadership to practice and have high execution focus and most importantly be able to inspire an experienced and talented P&C Team. One should be comfortable to coach senior leaders in the business to be their trusted advisor as well as leverage resources/ COE support from the wider global WBD ecosystem and enjoy working in a diverse matrixed global environment.

  • Drive the People & Culture strategy to scale up the Hyderabad capability center across multiple functions
  • Attract & retain top talent, heavy lift and support Talent branding, Talent Acquisition and Onboarding efforts as we rapidly scale the team
  • Actively contribute to the business strategy; provide People & Culture expertise to balance the short term and the long-term objectives
  • Proactively partner with leaders in building a high-performance culture based on the ethos of One Team and WBD’s Guiding Principles
  • Be embedded in the Global Capability Centre ecosystem at WBD as well as the local Hyderabad Capability center. Work in close collaboration with P&C Leads and business owners across global and local teams
  • Collaborate with COEs across Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & OD, DEI and Employer branding to create programs and initiatives to improve employee engagement, morale and productivity
  • Serve as People & Culture advisor, coach and partner to global senior leadership team across multiple functions
  • Connect people, teams and organization to execute the P&C strategy. Find ways for Managers/ Senior leaders to create meaningful connections with each other and their teams
  • Create exceptional employee experiences through the employee lifecycle. Ensure our organization’s treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with our business values and objectives
  • Use data to analyze casework trends to produce strategic, proactive recommendations to P&C and the Business to proactively address and mitigate systemic issues
  • Contribute on broader People & Culture projects across the APAC/ International
  • Partner with Legal, Comms, Finance and others in P&C, and Business on sensitive issues including employment relations
  • Lead & inspire a team of P&C partners and advisors to do their best work.
  • Ability to influence in a matrix environment by clearly charting and communicating the Hyderabad Capability Center strategy
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution practices and managing employee relations issues within a sophisticated matrixed environment
  • Be able to build collaborative relationships within People & Culture team internationally as well as business teams – combination of strong gravitas and humanity. Ability to persuade, negotiate and communicate effectively and independently
  • This individual must be self-motivated, should be able to deliver fast turnaround by influencing stakeholders, have the ability to move forward and progress in an ambiguous, complex, and constantly changing environment
  • 12+ years’ experience working in agile fast paced environment. Previous experience in fast-growing capability center /technology company will be helpful.
