We are looking for a Director, APAC People Operations to work within our global People Operations team in APAC focused on developing, leading, and implementing the People Operations strategy in APAC.
- Responsible for the people management oversight across the APAC people operations team managing the local, specialized People Solutions (Shared Services) team, People Advocates and Performance Enablement teams throughout the region ensuring the operational success of a highly specialized model.
- Partners closely with the local APAC Senior leadership team to ensure People needs are being supported throughout the region in support of business objectives. Provides coaching and guidance to APAC leadership.
- Ensures alignment between local and global People objectives and can effectively manage change impacts across the region.
- Drives the people operations strategy development, implementation, and execution for the APAC region in alignment with the company’s overall goals.
- Responsible for alignment within a specialized People model helping to bridge the gaps and ensuring consistency in employee experience within the APAC region.
- A strategic People leader with proven ability to lead and influence business stakeholders, internal partners, and executive leadership
- Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights
- Skilled communicator across all levels of the organization with the ability to flex and adapt with business needs
- 10+ years experience in progressive People leadership experience across the APAC landscape
- Demonstrable experience working in a global and local environment, preferably in organizations with a matrix reporting structure
- Experience leading large scale multi-function People teams in support of business objectives
- Well-versed in HR business processes, HR standard operating procedures, and compliance/policy protocols in the APAC region
- Familiar working in a “roll up your sleeves” startup environment that is rapidly scaling globally
- A proven track record in managing efficient and high-performing teams
- Multi-country EMEA HR leadership experience required
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required
- Good interpersonal/verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in MS office including Powerpoint/Excel, Workday, etc
- BA/BS degree, Master’s degree preferred
