In this role, you will lead a team of Program managers & Engineering Leaders who use Agile Development Methods and the Scrum Framework to deliver critical, customer facing, enterprise system solutions. You will continuously improve our processes using Fortive Business System to make our teams highly productive. Champion the adoption of advanced engineering practices such as continuous gradual integration, test driven development, and automated validation & verification.

Responsibilities include fostering collaboration across global business and technology organizations, providing sound analysis and change leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with our partners and project teams to ensure the delivery of quality products and services align with global strategies. You will build extraordinary teams, hiring top talent and keeping the organization highly engaged and motivated to deliver exceptional results.

Here’s where you’ll demonstrate your proficiencies: 

• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop excellent solutions for our global customers
• Work with the executive team to develop project portfolio roadmaps that align with business objectives/priorities and consider resource availability.
• Lead the overall plan, implementation, tracking and managing cost, schedule and scope for all projects in the portfolio.
• Own project portfolio activities, conduct reviews, assess risk, standardize processes, and address roadblocks.
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile/Scrum/Lean principles and career development.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:   

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a Science or Engineering related field. MBA is a plus.
• 10+ years of professional Program and Project Management experience in a high tech environment.
• Expertise in lean portfolio program management, Agile and Scrum framework, and Lean product development practices.
• Strong independent and motivated self-starter with the ability to be a strategic problem solver with focus on details at the same time.
