Cvent is seeking a results-oriented, highly analytic, strategic and innovative individual to lead execution of enterprise-wide transformation including operational efficiency, cost savings and strategic growth initiatives.

As Director/Senior Manager, Strategic Projects & Transformation, you will engage a wide range of executive stakeholders successfully and build credible relationships with the senior leadership team. You have a bias for action and are very comfortable in ambiguity. You have an inherent ability to synthesize disparate inputs into actionable frameworks, solutions and ultimate drive to results. You are equally adept at presenting initiative updates to executives and the board with data, facts and analysis working closely with Financial Planning and Analysis teams.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute cross-functional Transformational priorities focused on operational efficiencies
  • Design and lead processes to drive enterprise Transformation initiatives, from concept to realized value
  • Responsible for managing a full portfolio of projects and drive specific initiatives – directly and through team members – providing direction and driving more granular interdependencies across Transformation initiatives
  • Manage and monitor attainment of desired benefits via operational and financial metrics; collaborate with finance planning and analysis teams to determine impact on company financials
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative analytics to shape the transformative strategies, design new operating models and business architecture
  • Build schedules and workload to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of projects
  • Maintain a hands-on approach to leading analysis and projects • Critical metric cadence, tracking, measurement, reporting
  • Lead, manage and coach junior members of the team; groom them for more responsibility
  • Conduct market research to identify benchmarks and leading practices and utilize these practices to improve business operations
  • MBA is strongly preferred.  BS in Business, Finance or Technology
  • 10-12+ years in related disciplines including transformation management, consulting, strategic planning, program/project management, financial planning and analysis, operations and corporate finance
  • 5-7+ years of strategy or management consulting experience with a top tier firm is strongly preferred
  • Track record of successful management of large, complex strategic and operational initiatives and drive results through influence, persuasion and relationships
  • Strong ability to compile, analyze and present data, findings and progress in a concise manner
  • Ability to think and pivot between strategic and tactical actions; persistent attention to detail, and ability to lead and flourish through ambiguity
  • Confident leading meetings with executive stakeholders, making and influencing decisions, documenting progress, and resolving issues quickly and collaboratively
  • Experience managing and working with global virtual teams
  • Must be a well-balanced leader who can roll up their sleeves and focus on the detail while also grasping and supporting the big picture
