We are searching for a Regional Shared Services Center Head to be based in Bucharest, Romania. This strategic position is responsible for leading the development, management, and direction of the large scale Technical Services Hub, aligning with global objectives to drive innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
MAIN OBJECTIVES:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, recruitment, and talent integration.
- Foster a culture of innovation, aligning with global sustainability commitments.
- Ensure the Center’s seamless integration and contribution within the global framework, maintaining executive-level relationships.
- Drive the hub’s growth and sustainability, enhancing internal and external networks.
- Ensures that the Center is cost effective and sustainable.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the daily management, operational, organizational, and administrative functions of the Center.
- Craft and execute strategies for talent recruitment, integration, and utilization, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
- Monitor and report on hub performance, driving efficiency and development.
- Collaborate with various Business Areas and global functions as internal clients, as well as with external clients, ensuring the achievement of shared goals.
Experience
- A successful track record of organizational accomplishment as a CEO, COO, Business Unit leader or in another strategic corporate leadership responsibility;
- Experience in Strategy, Transformation, Business Development and Project Management, and a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability are essential.
- Proven experience and ability in managing very large, diverse, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global business environment with exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- We look for someone used and comfortable being in the spotlight since will ensure maintenance and development of internal and external networks to enhance the growth and development of the Center.
- Financially sophisticated; able to lead an organization that has elements of financial complexity;
- A quick learner, able to develop an understanding of a new business environment in a timely manner.

- Highly developed communication, interpersonal, decision-making, public relations, presentation, facilitation, mediation and negotiation skills;
- Highly developed organizational, problem-solving, budget and financial planning skills;
- Must be a strong leader and have the ability to effectively lead a team, resulting in a work environment conducive to positive employee morale, a commitment to customer satisfaction and high delivery of services as well as the ability to effectively manage change;
- Able to maintain course in the face of challenge; maintains a focus on the achievement of vision and goals while being sensitive to the need to build consensus among partners and key stakeholders;
- Must be able to respond with sensitivity to the concerns and interests of a culturally, politically, and socio-economically diverse community and work force;
- Ability to operate in an environment where the collective decisions of the Board are respected, and to recognize and work co-operatively with Group’s interests;
- Must be collaborative with other internal organizations, as well as Group’s employees, in order to break down impediments and improve effectiveness.
- Proven ability to foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, countries and regions is crucial.
- Advanced English proficiency is required as well as at least conversational Romanian language.
- Availability to live and work in Bucharest, Romania on a permanent basis is absolutely necessary.
